According to Page Six, the actor went off Wednesday after seeing fans describe the deaths as a “sacrifice” or “curse” tied to the show.
“Let me log off today because the way too many of you talk about real people who have passed as a ‘sacrifice’ or a ‘curse’ in regards to a tv show is f–king diabolical and untethered from any sort of humanity or reality,” McHale wrote on X.

Which Glee cast members have died?
Three main cast members from the Fox musical dramedy have died: Cory Monteith, Mark Salling and Naya Rivera.
Monteith died in July 2013 at 31. He was found in a Vancouver hotel room; the coroner ruled the death accidental from intravenous heroin combined with alcohol.
Salling died in January 2018 at 35, a month after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. His death was ruled a suicide.
Rivera died in July 2020 at 33. Authorities said she drowned at Lake Piru in Ventura County, California, after pushing her then-4-year-old son, Josey, back onto a drifting pontoon boat and saving his life.
